Use the appropriate assessment tools to determine if technology is effective:
After watching the video, I found that ongoing assessment is key as technology, students and assignments change. Traditional assessment tools are not always the way to go, we need to be open to using alternative methods for technology assessment and take the time to reflect on whether or not the technology used was effective in our classroom.

Assessment Methods:
- how is technology doing in your classroom?
Questions to ask:
- is technology a teaching, learning, or creating tool?
- is it safe?
- what is the maintenance?
- what assessment tools to use?
- was technology used appropriately?
- does technology enhance learning?
- were objectives reached?
- were student’s engaged, motivated, interested?
- how long/often did student’s use technology?
Use the appropriate assessment tools to determine if technology is effective:
- teacher observation
- checklists (eg. Yes or No)
- rating scales (eg. 1-5)
- rubrics
